In these two panels we are wordlessly shown Cybil’s transformation into the women she would be during her time working on bringing down Director Adams inside the OSS.
We watch Cybil in the guise of one of the people from Sologne whose brain she was forced to eat by Director Adams, follow the dead volt junkie to the morgue. There she steals the brain of the junkie. In the second panel she takes the girls ID and transfers all her money onto her own credstick. Then she meets up with a shady identity trader and voila she is now in possession of the proper ID to become Cybil Mar. In the next two drawings we see her eat the volt junkies’ brain and transform into her new guise. The process of transformation is clearly a painful one.
